UN extends mission in Cote d'Ivoire to 2012 |

The United Nations Security Council on Wednesday adopted Resolution 2000 to extend the mandate of the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Côte d’Ivoire (UNOCI) for another year, until 31 July 2012, in a bid to assist this country tackle the many challenges it faces following the recent post-election crisis, a UN statement said here.
