Accra to host 10th Africa investment forum |

Ghana's capital city, Accra, will host the 10th Africa Investment Forum (3rd-4th April) under the theme “Partnering with Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to accelerate investment” which will mainly focus on the opportunity to access the growing regional market in a continent of one billion people, President John Evans Atta Mills announced.

One more killed in clashes near Egyptian Interior Ministry |

The clashes between protesters and security forces in front of the Egyptian Interior Ministry building in Cairo continued on Monday for the fifth day in a row, leaving one more dead and raising the death toll to 13 across the country, according to Egyptian Ministry of Health.

Nigerian labor union announces suspension after national strike |

Nigeria's umbrella union on Monday decided to suspend the six-day nationwide strike against rising petrol fuel, a union official said. President of the Nigeria Labor Congress (NLC) Abdulwaheed Omar announced the suspension at a news conference in Abuja. He urged all workers to return to work as they engage in further dialogue with the authorities over the latest fuel price slash announced by President Jonathan.
