Two killed in military helicopter crash in Congo

| Two Ukrainian pilots were killed in a military helicopter crash occurred on Monday night in Mbouambe Lefini, about 200 km north of Brazzaville, capital of the Republic of Congo.

"The helicopter crashed onto the plain and were totally burned, there is nothing left in the cabin", said Commissioner of Police Lefini, Patou Mascott.
Source from the Congolese Ministry of Defence said the deaths were of Ukrainian nationality, but no further details were given about the cause of the crash.The helicopter took off from Gamboma, a town 325 km north of Brazzaville.
The crash has been the second one since November 2011, when a military helicopter crashed in northwest of the country, killing a pilot and injuring three others.
