Nigerian leader congratulates Egypt's president-elect

Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan has congratulated Dr. Mohamed Morsi for becoming Egypt's President–Elect.


Morsi emerged following the country's recent run-off presidential election.

In a congratulatory message to Dr. Morsi, President Jonathan described his victory in the elections as well-deserved, noting that the elections were an important milestone in the history of modern Egypt. The Nigerian leader also wished Dr. Morsi continued good health and a successful tenure.
